Grannyma's House (2023)
"Grannyma’s House" invites viewers into the home of my maternal great-grandmother, blending childhood memories with a deeper exploration of family and space. Through photos of her home, including her snow globe collection and living areas, I capture the essence of the place that shaped our family history. This project reflects my adult perspective on the home where my siblings and I spent time, now rich with meaning. It also highlights the gap in my knowledge of her past, urging me to better understand the woman who was always there for us. These images honor her life and the memories she created, inviting others to reflect on their own familial connections.
